Reliable, Resilient Infrastructure

MagNicas is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Singapore, with tenant data kept isolated property by property, and daily automated backups so your building's data is protected against loss.

Encrypted in Transit and at Rest

Data moving between your device and MagNicas is encrypted the same way online banking is, so it can't be intercepted. Everything we store stays encrypted too, so it remains unreadable even if storage were ever accessed without authorization.

Technical detail: TLS 1.2/1.3 in transit, with HSTS enforced; encryption at rest for all databases, backups, and session data.

Private, Access-Controlled Documents

Visitor photos, identification documents, and compliance files are never stored in public folders — they're kept in private storage and only ever reachable through short-lived, authenticated links that expire.

Role-Based Access Control

Granular permissions restrict every role — security guard, property manager, resident, platform admin — to only the data they are authorized to view or act on.

Full Audit Trail

Every change to property configurations, tenant settings, access keys, and user permissions is logged (Enterprise Plan), so any incident can be traced and reviewed quickly.

Automatic Visitor Data Retention & Purging

Visitor check-in details — including photos, ID numbers, and visit history — can be set to be automatically and permanently purged once your property's configured retention period ends, and your property manager can also remove individual visitor records manually at any time.

Regulatory Compliance & Data Ownership

MagNicas aligns with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). You retain full ownership of your property's data — export a complete copy any time from the management portal, and request permanent deletion by contacting our team.
